SaltDNA, a Cybersecurity 500 company and the leader in secure mobile communications for the enterprise, is delighted to announce the extension of its product suite to support message broadcasting. SaltDNA have developed the solution with several key customers and partners and it will be available on iOS and Android.
The new capability announced by SaltDNA will allow customers to push out live alerts to large groups of users within an organisation. The new broadcasting capability will enable organisations to send messages, share images and documents as well as assign the level of severity to an alert. In order to further highlight critical issues, SaltDNA have allocated different alert tones for different severity levels. These elements will allow organisations to effectively broadcast information such as emergency services alerts, data breaches or environmental warnings to a large number of users with the confidence that it is secure.
“We’re delighted to be announcing this new feature here at Black Hat 2018. The new SaltDNA Broadcasting capability has come after working with a number of security focused organisations who need to communicate directly with large numbers of people in a quick and secure manner. Being able to provide different levels of severity to these alerts, as well as sending imagery and documentation will allow issues to be dealt with in a secure and efficient manner. This is key for some of our current clients, and we’re excited to bring this new feature to market, showing once again how important client feedback is to SaltDNA and our development planning,” said Joe Boyle, CEO at SaltDNA.
“SaltDNA continue to produce exciting innovations which increase the flexibility of its solution. It further validates them as the leader in the secure communications market and the focus on continuous innovation is a key reason why we partnered with them,” said Graham Penrose, CEO at CommsLock. This new feature from SaltDNA will be crucial for a large number of our clients, and the flexibility in which it can be deployed is extremely important. For our government and defense clients the on-premise option of SaltDNA is hugely compelling, and broadcasting further increase the stickability of the product in these environments. Furthermore, for law firms and banks, having the ability to incorporate message broadcasting capabilities into their incident response procedures will be highly effective”.
The new SaltDNA Broadcasting capabilities are currently in closed beta with a small number of customers and partners and will be available to the wider public at the end of August 2018.
